  • Talent Acquisition Specialist

    Nashville, TN 

    POSITION SUMMARY

    PhyMed Healthcare Group is seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing practice in Nashville, TN. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play an integral role in identifying quality, driven candidates for all open roles within PhyMed’s key business markets in multiple states. They will be primarily responsible for completing initial phone screenings and interviewing for corporate roles within PhyMed including but not limited to IT, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Operations, as well as some clinical roles. This position will also be responsible for assistance in the sourcing and development of a continuous candidate pipeline for advanced practice nurses and physician roles within PhyMed’s multiple anesthesia practices.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Source, review resumes, schedule interviews, conduct interviews, and partner with hiring managers when selecting candidates for corporate-based roles
    • Provide regular reports and updates to hiring managers regarding the status of their open roles
    • Partner with Director of Talent Acquisition as needed to assist in the sourcing strategy of advanced practice nurses and physicians
    • Review resumes and conduct phone screenings for advanced practices nurse and physician roles as needed
    • Attend local and national conference exhibitor events as needed

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor Degree from an accredited program required, preferably in Human Resources.
    • Minimum of 1-2 years in Recruiting, preferably in a healthcare environment.
    • Excellent organizational skills required.
    • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication needed.
    • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Coding Specialist

    Nashville, TN 

    JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Import batches and complete demographic downloads and scanning for assigned sites.
    • Verify case information and verify that the seven steps of medical direction were met or not met and bill accordingly and code correctly.
    • Verify patient demographics and insurance are on the patient’s account, completing necessary information missing.
    • Check eligibility for high deductible utilizing Zirmed.
    • Review charges for all sites and enter charges that are not downloaded, this includes verifying diagnosis and procedure codes, appropriate modifiers and billing blocks and lines accordingly.
    • Run Concurrency reports for each batch performing necessary corrections.
    • If a true Concurrency exists, make all copies of the charge tickets involved in the provider concurrency and forward to doctor or CRNA to validate and/or make necessary corrections.Communicate with providers regarding concurrencies and perform follow up on concurrencies that are not returned.
    • Post all charges once they are downloaded/entered.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or GED
    • 2 years ICD-10 and CPT medical billing experience
    • Knowledge and experience with eligibility with all payers to complete revenue cycle. 
    • Coding certification is a plus

  • Revenue Cycle (Medical Billing) Specialist

    Nashville, TN 

    Job Description

    • Efficiently and professionally resolve Insurance accounts analyzing and reviewing for payment resolution, working all assigned rejections and denials.
    • Professionally answer incoming telephone calls from Payers and patients providing answers to questions and concerns about billing statements. Return all unanswered calls within 24 hours of receipt.
    • Provide status on all claims within 30 to 45 days of claim filing date by calling Insurance or checking online.
    • Handle all correspondence within 1 week of receipt.
    • Prepare and sends written appeals when necessary with appropriate documentation.
    • Follow up on active status reports and process refund in a timely fashion.
    • Work exception reports, review EOB’s for correct contract payment.
    • Contact Insurance for correct reimbursement either by a telephone call or sending a provider dispute form.
    • All work on each account should be accurately documented in the system on the appropriate account and date of service.
    • Handle all questions and Insurance accounts from Patient Financial Services and Revenue Cycle staff.
    • Other duties and/or projects may be assigned when necessary.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum 2 years medical billing experience or 1 year along with a course in Medical Billing.
    • Exceptional communication and people skills.
    • Basic computer skills, i.e., email and word.
